LEBANON - Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) announced he will host a Senior Crime Prevention Seminar on Thursday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at StoneRidge Poplar Run,
440 E. Lincoln Ave., Myerstown. The seminar will be led by Jerry Mitchell from the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General.
“Seniors are targeted for many kinds of consumer fraud, especially home improvement, financial exploitation, telemarketing and sweepstakes,” said Diamond. “It is important that we provide information on how to avoid becoming the next victim and make our seniors observant of their surroundings and situations they are facing.”
The seminar will also include information on how to file a fraud complaint and advice for caretakers as well.
This event is free. For more information, call Diamond’s district office at 717-277-2101.
