LEBANON – As part of a continuing effort to eliminate unnecessary, wasteful government spending, Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) today announced he has returned $22,754.24 in unused general office expense funds – more than half of his $40,000 budget – from the 2017-18 Legislative Session.
“I am committed to running the district office in Lebanon and the Capitol office in Harrisburg with the same sound fiscal values held by so many Lebanon County families,” Diamond said. “My staff and I always have a watchful eye on expenses as there is no greater responsibility than managing funds on behalf of the taxpayers.”
The expense allocation in each two-year session is used for constituent outreach, district events and other services, including mailings.
