Diamond Reacts to Governor’s Budget Address

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) issued the following statement in response to the governor’s budget proposal:

“The governor will not be able to fund the programs he is asking for, businesses will not be able to create jobs, and the economy will not grow if we continue to run outrageous deficits. What we need is commonsense spending limits, continued investments in the state’s savings account and tax relief for Pennsylvania businesses and families. I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues to protect taxpayers as we begin budget hearings this month.”
