HARRISBURG - Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) today announced that the Lebanon Valley Economic Development Corporation has been approved to receive Pipeline Investment funds totaling $1,124,182 from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) for the extension of natural gas service to Boose Quality Castings in South Lebanon Township, Lebanon County.

“Not only will this pipeline addition provide our community with a more affordable and accessible heat source, but we are thrilled that in addition to the already almost 60 jobs provided by the project, we will see an increase of over a dozen more energy jobs,” said Diamond. “I am thankful to the CFA for their support of this vital infrastructure project.”

Pipeline lnvestment Program funds will be used toward the construction of approximately 5,700 linear feet of natural gas pipeline, allowing Boose Quality Castings to connect to an existing pipeline and convert to natural gas. The total project cost is $2,290,000. UGI will provide matching funds in the amount of $1,165,818.
