HARRISBURG - Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) presented Chloe Bomgardner of Lebanon County with a House citation at the 2023 Cornocopia event in the Capitol Rotunda in recognition of her being crowned the 2023 Pennsylvania Fair Queen.
“Ms. Bomgardner, who had already won the Lebanon Area Fair Queen crown, was one of 58 contestants at the 110th annual convention of the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs and Pennsylvania State Showmen’s Association who were evaluated by a panel of three judges on their written and speaking skills, knowledge of the fair and agricultural industries, and their poise and personal presentation in business attire,” Diamond said.
“The 102nd District is heavily agricultural, and Chloe represents our area well, being an active member of the Northern Lebanon FFA Chapter, serving as vice president, and is also a current president of the NorLebCo 4-H Dairy Club.”
Chloe is the daughter of Corwin and Tara Bomgardner. Agriculture and the Lebanon Area Fair have always been an important part of her life.
She assists her family with raising Holstein show heifers, dairy beef, chickens and market hogs and has always enjoyed participating in the Lebanon Area Fair by showing her animals and volunteering in fair food stands. Chloe plans on attending college to major in large animal science.
