HARRISBURG - Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) has been appointed by House Speaker Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) to serve as one of 23 members on the Election Law Advisory Board within the Join State Government Commission. The board was established as a component of Act 12 of 2020, which modernized the Commonwealth’s electoral system.

Public Announcement: In-Person Lebanon County Tax-Aide Program Suspended

(Lebanon, PA) – AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, the nation’s largest free, volunteer-based tax preparation and assistance service is suspending in-person tax preparation services in all Pennsylvania sites including Lebanon County. As the coronavirus pandemic evolves, AARP Foundation and its community partners has determined that the Tax-Aide program can NOT open any of its in-person sites for the remainder of the tax season, which has been extended to July 15. The health and safety of program volunteers and taxpayers remains AARP Foundation’s top priority, and this decision about re-opening was made with that in mind.

Diamond Resolution Urges Immediate Levine Removal or Resignation

HARRISBURG - Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) has introduced House Resolution 879, which urges the immediate removal or resignation of Pennsylvania Department of Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine in response to the horrific results of the department’s COVID-19 policy in regard to nursing homes and other facilities where Levine has direct oversight. As of May 15, 2,991 of Pennsylvania's 4,342 COVID-19 deaths, or 68.8%, occurred in such facilities.

Diamond, Klunk, Ecker Sponsor Bill to Open Local Garden Centers

Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) has introduced House Bill 2429, which would grant a waiver to the governor's COVID-19 Business Closure Order to all lawn and garden equipment and supplies stores that can adhere to the social distancing practices and other mitigation measures defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), effectively opening them up for in-person operations.

Lebanon Valley Mall, Diamond District Office Closed Until Further Notice

LEBANON - The Lebanon Valley Mall announced today that they will close tomorrow morning in response to the governor’s statewide shutdown order of non-essential stores. The district office of Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon), which is located inside the mall, will be closed as well as a result. The governor’s order is in effect until March 27.

Diamond Announces $576,000 in School Safety Grants for 102nd District
