HARRISBURG – As part of a continuing effort to maintain a lean and efficient district office operation, Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon) today announced he has returned $14,847.95 in unused general office expense funds, and an additional $1,585.51 in postage funds from the 2015-16 Legislative Session.
“My staff members and I take pride in doing the best job we can in using the taxpayer dollars allocated for the district office in Lebanon, and the Capitol office in Harrisburg,” said Diamond. “Saving money on a daily basis is important. The taxpayers place great faith in us to manage funds and not spend foolishly. We will continue to streamline our operations in the future.”
Diamond added the expense allocation in each two-year session is used for constituent outreach, district events and other services, including mailings.
